Candle care tips
If you've recently purchased an Art candle ,you may be wondering how to properly care for it to make it last longer. Here are some tips on how to trim the wick, when to trim it, and how to reuse and clean the onyx vessel.
Trimming the Wick:
Before lighting your candle, it's important to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This will ensure that the flame burns cleanly and evenly. To trim the wick, simply use a pair of scissors or wick trimmer to snip off the excess wick.
When to Trim the Wick:
It's recommended to trim the wick before every use, as this will prevent the flame from getting too large and potentially causing the candle to smoke or burn unevenly. If you notice the flame starting to get too large while the candle is burning, you can also extinguish the candle, let it cool down, and trim the wick before relighting it.
Making Your Candle Last Longer:
To make your Wood wick soy candle last longer, it's important to let it burn for at least 2-3 hours during the first use. This will allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface, preventing any tunneling and ensuring maximum fragrance throw. It's also recommended to avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time, as this can cause the wick to mushroom and the candle to smoke.
With these tips, you can enjoy your Wood wick 15 oz soy satin wax candle for longer.
